I updated the list so that it's current again. Most recent reports are at the top of each bold-faced section.

Has anyone here hiked to Baldy Notch from Stockton Flats via the forest road? It shows as 3N06 on the FS map and "Baldy Road" on the USGS topo.

Not quite the same thing, but if my memory doesn't fail me, I think someone here (maybe Sean or AW) went up Coldwater Canyon some or all the way to the saddle between Thunder and Telegraph. Can't find that TR, but you can see in satellite imagery remnants of an old road in that canyon up to about the location where the Forest Service maps show Coldwater trail camp (Hybrid view on CalTopo labels it "Cone Camp, Yellow Post site 19). Above that, looks like its a straight shot up the rocky drainage to the saddle.

Sounds fun. That saddle has great views.

The list has been updated again. Reports from the last couple years appear at the top of each section. Generally these are trips that reach the Baldy summit or originate along the Baldy road between Claremont and the Ski Lift.
