Accidentally dropped an old shopping bag filled with bills on a recreation from a heist in the spirit of the Banditos.

If the campground is open during your trip, don't forget the water spigot at Buckhorn.

Sounds like a great trip!

Re: Little Rock Creek - Winston Ridge - PCT

Really enjoyed the report and pics. I was somewhat nearby on Sunday for a training run. We ran from Islip to Chilao. At 3 pts we hit the PCT until 5N04 (I think) where we climb to near Mt Hilyer. Looking out across the expanse from the PCT to the area you were at made me wonder what it's like. Your ...

Tom Harrison - Baldy Map?

The Tom Harrison Baldy Map? Thinking about picking it up because there are some peaks / trails in the area I want to explore.

If you have this map would you say it is pretty comprehensive of the trails in the area?

Re: The Station Fire Thread

This is very interesting. It's neat to see the recovery. I live in the foothills so these make the dramatic regrowth more obvious to me. The chaparral seems to grow back relatively quickly. The loss of all those trees still bums me out. Thanks for sharing this!

Hi All, A few years back (summer) I recall driving up to Cobb Estate to get in a late afternoon trail run in. There was a sign out front saying trail closed / fire danger. F'in miserable. Anyone know how the springs fire started? Apparently by the road. Some clown probably threw a smoke out their window.

Looks to be a tough fire season. My biggest concerns in the SGs are Big Santa Anita and what's left of the High Country
