Anyone ever venture down there? I understand it's private property and one cannot get too close?

It's beautiful in there. Used to be a great hike - nice gradual incline over 4.5 miles from Upper Big T at the Alder Creek trailhead, through chaparral with nice open views and big sky. The trail goes around the edge of the property, so there is no problem with that if you stick to the trail.

Unfortunately, this one is still closed in the Station Fire closure, *even though none of it burned*. It must have been, and probably still is, a great wildlife haven.

Last I heard the place is still occupied. I have seen pics of FB of current day, but they were removed per owner's request. Glad the area didn't burn!

Thanks Coug... Here's one for ya if you haven't seen it already
