What defines a woman as a cow? I'm curious

and hey, Chino doesn't have that many cows anymore! I used to wake up and smell them in Chino Hills, not so anymore, thank god.

Zion Narrows is a MUST. It can be an all day or just a few hours, and its a great way to stay out of the heat. It's 500 feet down from the top of the canyon walls, and the whole trip is almost completely in water. Its great.

As for hiking at night, is the threat of running into animals any greater? I have no desire to run into anything that will uh, bite my head off. Though, I'd be hiking with a partner, with headlights and shit, just wondering if I should be a little more wary.

That's pretty awesome. As I was driving home from the Pomona fairgrounds last night I thought about doing something like this as well, but if it didnt work so well, guess I wont! You need a wilderness permit for the angeles national forest.

I dont know what time the ranger station opens up in baldy village, but you can pick one up at sports chalet near you, or just pick one up the day prior.

Well moved my hike to Saturday, too much rain and I dont want white out conditions.

Anyone going up Fri/Saturday? It looks like snow again on Fri, not sticking unless over 8000 most likely.

Top of mt. wilson is always depressing, so many antenna's.

My girlfriend doesnt see the joy of hiking as much as I do, and so when she goes I try to make it as fun as I can for her. However, when I go off alone she worries way too much but I call her as much as I can hah.

How strenuous? Anyone have/seen any trip reports recently for this?
I know its ~9.3 the path I'm going(Ice house to ski lifts), lots of up and down? Any tips?
