What do you guys use? I bought some cheap stuff from Target thinking i'd be all right.
Walked into ice house canyon and the bugs were loving me.

The bugs have been a nuisance in Icehouse for the last few weeks. I just walk fast and pray for a breeze to blow them away. Bug nets work, but they are hot and interfere with vision. I have never tried Deet or anything like that.

I've found even 100% DEET useless in some places, like the Sierra. But treating my clothing/hat/socks/bandana with permithrin works great; not only against mosquitoes, but ticks as well. Available at REI.
