Four points for you! I do look perplexed, but I think it had more to do with having selfie trouble. It took three attempts to get it right, and this was the second attempt.

The rules of this game seem quite similar to those governing the production of a Splattski. Here's an example that would be far too easy for most here to guess:

I'll have a good one by Monday...maybe earn that honorary, so I can get out of the Peter O'Toole slot.

EDIT: See, and I didn't even finish reading the rules. I'm not allowed to submit...and now I forfeit the pity point, too.

OK, it's Monday (just). Let's get crackin'!

We have to get 100 points, I think I'm almost burned out, I'm a sprinter not a marathoner. This pic is at the saddle for the turnoff to Bighorn facing Ontario. You're thinking it is too damn cold or windy to be hiking today.

Maybe you just have a bad case of the Mondays. But I'm sure the others wouldn't mind if you burn out in the second round. Haha!

Of course your guess is spot on. Four points for you! I'll post the next clue this evening.

The rules are in the first post. Tell me if I'm within 5 miles (as the crow flies) or within 1 mile.

That's the horrible slog up to the Wilson Toll Road from Hastings. You're wondering what happened to the sky ride from La Crescenta to Wilson.

Within 1 mile, Gleason summit! I thought the rocks were a give away. They've been there forever.

1 point? :)

West of Pine, but you did manage to get within 5 miles, so one point for you! And I should have been inspired to invest in a real backpack so I didn't have to carry a carton of water on my strap. One more point for you!

You are near Ontario Peak.
State of mind- wondering how many marshmallows you can stuff in your mouth?

You're within five miles (too far west), and I am wondering how much stuff I can stuff into my face, so two points for you!

Ok, then you're coming off of your namesake peak after killing that guy in the yellow cap/helmet in the background who is laying in the dirt.

Correct, I killed Curious George's owner and left him on Cucamonga. Two points for you!
