If it's true that TTPC are woke "pretendians," then I hope the County tells them to go pound sand.

Re: Henninger Flats - Potential Ownership Transfer

Corrections (1-16-2023) We have subsequently learned that the Gabrielino / Tongva Nation is not involved in the potential transfer of Henninger Flats. It is another organization, with ties to the Gabrielino-Tongva Band of Mission Indians. Additionally, we did not make clear that the current plan do...

When he's older he'll like Dutch Louie's Mine, which is before Dagger Flat. This dude dug a tunnel through the ridge to divert water.

Re: Eaton Canyon Trails

I've started repairing the bad spot on the Idlehour. This is the washed out section near the campground. DSC00812.JPG The plan is to stabilize the slope with a multi-tiered, dry rock retaining wall, then use the top tier to widen the trail tread. IMG_20240115_144016690.jpg Over the weekend I finishe...

I've added several of Lonnie's TRs from 2005. After hiking Whitney and San Gorgonio, he developed a bone spur and stayed away from hiking for over a year. This is probably a good place for me to take a break as well.
