Re: Eispiraten.com Group East Fork Chillpacking

Oh yeah, and we might play dungeons and dragons. So that kinda dungeon, not a kink dungeon, which is fine as well if you smuggle butt plugs in just to find everyone is stoned playing wizard game and not interested in butt games.

Talked to my buddy at work about August 12-13, that's Friday night. What y'all think? This will be a dungeon party, not a hike.

I've always wondered about that road. Cool. I've been up in upper Coldwater canyon a buncha times and was always too lazy to go further down.

I'm not interested in doing that after we did Iron Fork. That scratched my itch. I am planning a tunnel party for August 6 or so now. How does that date sit with you?

I was joking with the boys about mountain unicycling up some dumb terrain, I dunno what yet.

You get a pass for an ebïke, Jim, due to you being you. Other lesser apes will be reeducated.

Re: Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs

Yeah it's mega annoying trying to put photos in. I gave up on it and only really try hard to make a good TR once in a great while. Someday we will build a new site which will crush all before it, dominating the interweb. Until then, I will curse at my screen and give up, like I did on my huge trip r...

I make $30,000 a month off your privacy. Nah, we make nothing. Tapatalk blows. Im sorry about that, partially my fault, partially not. I got to see a very small part of that area while working as a crew member on a race team on Pikes Peak. It seems like an awesome place to live, with so much interes...

Dima has some ideas for an epic ride to write up later. I have a possible big one coming up in the fall.

Re: Iron Fork (not a bike thing)

An excellent trip. My legs sort of work tonight. I only took a few photos and they're almost all the same as Dima's. I kept my camera in my drybag as I didn't want it to get wet, and later when it wouldn't get wet I just didn't wanna deal with it. I don't have a strap setup yet for wearing while hik...

Eispiraten.com Group East Fork Chillpacking

Yo dawgs, I wanna hike all of East Fork from Heaton Flats to Vincent Gap, or perhaps beyond. I envision going at a chill pace, cooking good food, and having a sort of party attitude about it. It would happen this summer. Who's interested? Biggest challenge is the car shuttle. Due to !CRIME!, I would...

Looks like Max Mapper updated the closure map. Thank you. The closed area is significantly smaller now. Thank you for making a map, since the USFS ones are typically grainy.

So it looks like they extendo'ed it to April 1 202fucking3. Fuck you. Looks like Cogswell is being dredged or whatever to remove sediment "from April 1 to December 1, 2022, and during the same timeframe in 2023". Did the forest circus find out how to install windows 95 plus yet or does tha...

I rode to the top of South Mt Hawkins last week. There was snow up to about a foot deep on north facing slopes. I also hiked to Bighorn Mine last weekend and it seems there's still plenty of snow above about 7k, again on north facing slopes. I would expect snow on your route. I would bring a light a...

Im getting my daipers ready. I too would feel distress if i happened to cover ground closed to the regulars. I might have to take my spark-emitting shoes and leave my suit made of matches and gasoline at home this time as well. And my feelings also dont matter. Much happier that way, strangely enoug...
