Our fellow mountain lover and forum member Tina Fiori tinaballina sadly passed away this weekend from a fall in Joshua Tree.
She was full of spunk, lollipops and middle fingers. We did many adventurous hikes together and she did many with other old forum members here. (San Antonio Ridge, Snow Creek, etc...).
RIP Tina
RIP tinaballina

I met her on a hike up Bear Canyon to Baldy randomly when I lead hikes. Then she came with us on hikes up Iron, Cactus to Clouds, Big San Gorgonio and San Jacinto Peak loops. And she progressively got into more technically challenging stuff like mountaineeering, ice climbing, rock climbing etc... A big outdoor person and personality.

Sharing Patrick T. Moran's post from Facebook, with his permission...
"My dear sweet mountain sister, we shared so many fun times in the wilderness and on the same rope that I don't even know where to begin with how much sadness is in my heart.
Your enthusiasm was infectious, your kindness was unwavering, your friendship was pure, your heart was a shining star in the world of uncertainty. My head wants the reality of this to be untrue but my heart is missing a big piece today so I'm crying as I write this.
Those drives up and down the 395 heading to or coming from the Sierra's will forever remain in my heart, those moments alone on summits, those calls to catch up on life meant the world to me. You were a true sister to me in every sense of the word and my world was bigger because of you.
Tina Fiori you were a bad ass who I respected tremendously, you never failed to make me smile, you always brighten my days.
Thanks for always being one of those dear friends I could talk with about anything at any time.
I love you and I'll keep you in my heart forever.
Go fly high with the angels, heaven gained a new one and they had better get ready because you're going to make them do shit that they might not be ready for."
