Hi everyone,

I'm slowly starting to check my gear for next spring's outings, especially with the changing conditions we're currently experiencing on the trails. Between replacing my shoes and buying new water filters, the bill is quickly adding up...
In fact, to try and boost my hiking budget a little, I'm looking into online gaming platforms. I came across a pretty good offer with a welcome pack. Has anyone here ever tried this to finance some of their camping gear? If you have any feedback on how quickly they process withdrawals (they claim less than 24 hours), I'd be interested to hear it!

Hi. Where specifically do you like to go explore? Which "changing conditions" are you concerned about? Shoes are cheap...

Are you replacing water filters or buying first time? I have a couple of Sawyer that I've used for many years - granted I don't always filter but the mini is at least six years old and the full size is three. The mini is rated for 100,000 gallons, without doing nay hard math in my head that should last a good long time.
