Those are two county highpoints in Yosemite NP, and the first is the highpoint of the park. Would anyone be interested in a slower-paced trip to bag both, or at least Parsons?
Lyell has a glacier but apparently minimal crevasse danger, it also has at least Class 3 rock near the top and some mention Class 4. I'd like to avoid backpacking as much as possible, but given that Lyell is 26 miles RT it might be necessary to do it as an overnight.
Interest in Mt Lyell/Parsons Peak?

The first ~8 miles of the trail look to be nearly flat so I'm open to a day hike when the snow burns off. Feel free to DM.
