I hiked to Twin Peaks from Three Points today, looping back through Waterman descending down onto the PCT. I'd like to be more specific with trail names, but as far as I can tell, they don't have any?

It seems strange these trails would be nameless because they're in OK shape, have good signage at junctions, and assume the twin peaks saddle helipad would need some official way to designate them.

The 2023 USGS quad suggests uninspiring "Mt Waterman Trail #1" and "Mt Waterman Trail #2". These names don't appear in previous years. I don't see the trail I descended on the north side, though this might be a "volunteer trail", since it's only marked with cairns and and has some slippery sections.

Do folks know if these trails have names, even if colloquial?

The forest service has official trail designations but they are just alpha-numeric gibberish. For example, Three points to Twin/Waterman saddle is 10W04...this link shows the forest service map with road and trail designations indicated...

The west ridge of Waterman is not an official trail. Just a use trail.

Here's a picture of the sign near Three Points (2011)...10W04 indeed...
