I invited two friends to hike with me on Thanksgiving morning. Both of them had never been to Stoddard peak.
I didn't check the weather and surprisingly it was cold with 45-50 mph gusts of wind.
At first, I didn't think we would make it to the peak but we did.
As we were hiking up the road we came across a group of people that decided to turn around because they felt it was too dangerous to summit.
I laughed and told them well, we are crazy so we will probably go to the summit. Of course they just stared at us in astonishment.
Anyways, we enjoyed the solitude and the views of Mt Baldy. The winds eventually died down as we ascended the peak.
We did some rock scrambling on the way back to our cars.
We all had a great time.

Doesn't look too cold since you're wearing short sleeves.
I like Stoddard, not much effort for some really nice views.
