Anyone have an interpretation what are the implications for the future of day use parking at Vincent Gap, Inspiration Point, Grassy Hollow, Jackson Lake, and a couple others?

The permits are for water and waste management, so I don't see any special implications for day use parking. As the costs of managing these things goes up, the costs of parking permits will go up.

Here it is. Starting Jan 1, $5 cold hard cash required to park at Inspiration Point.

Yes. The Adventure Pass does not provide for parking here after 1 Jan.

No, MH has a "permit to provide high-quality public service in the operation and maintenance of Government-owned recreation facilities located on the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument of the Angeles National Forest."

Ok, so presumably the money goes to maintenance of said facilities?
