This morning we gathered again at the Sunrise Point parking lot near the general store. The plan was to hike do a loop hike that included the Queens Garden, Navajo, Peekaboo, Wall of Windows trail and Rim trails. We added an unplanned route, the very cool Wall street trail. This was another 8 mile+ hike with abut 1800” elevation gain
My early morning drive. I had to pull over to admire the beautiful Utah sky and the sunrise..

Again you are surrounded by Hoodoos. They are never ending!

Our first stop was the Queens Garden trail which is only a 0.5 mile from the trail split. After admiring the Queens rock and Garden you cannot go any further. So we descended back down towards Navajo Loop.

We elected to take the Peekaboo trail first which is a very steep trail. This trail is shared with a horse trail which wasn’t very pleasant. Anyways, you ascend 1000ft but it's worth the climb.

We decided to have lunch at a spot where the trail divides and if you hike up an additional mile you can see Bryce Point. We decided against this because you can also drive up to this point on the other side and we did after the hike.

We continued on the loop reaching the point of the trail where the Peekaboo and Navajo Loop Junction meet and hiked towards the Wall Street trail which wasn’t in our original plans. After speaking with other hikers they suggested we go check it out and we were glad we did.
It's another steep climb on a wide trail. We passed through Wall of Windows trail, which was my 2nd favorite part of the hike.

We then approached a shaded part of the trail that you hike through to get into the Wall street. This was a very cool trail. As you go through the tunnel and admire its view you then start to ascend very steeply on lots of switchbacks.

By the end of the day we were exhausted.
This was my favorite hike in Bryce Canyon. We hiked many steep trails and the views were stunning. I found 4 benchmarks on this day.

Overall, I found 9 benchmarks in the 2 days of hiking through Bryce. However, they were not hard to find. The coolest trails in Bryce were the Peek-A-Boo trails and the Wall Street Trail.

One of these days I'll get out there.....
I've been saying that for more than 20 years now, your photos are a good reminder that I need to just go.
