My trip report muse has been kind of lazy lately so I haven't had much to post in awhile. But I went out last weekend with my daughter and a friend to the Cottonwood Lakes and did a write up with some pics that you can see here:

Awesome area. I've been hiking around Horseshoe Meadow several times but haven't made it out to the lakes yet. Maybe next trip.

I love that area! I'm taking my wife up there the first weekend of August for her first backpacking trip. Makes sense as it's relatively close to home and a short hike in with minimal elevation gain to some awesome scenery.
