Another death! Mt Harwood on Saturday.
I can't remember a year where there's been this many accidents/fatalities in one month. For the two that fell and survived, Yaktrax don't really cut it.
The four guys I saw at Baden-Powell all had crampons, only 2 had ice axes. They had all heard and were aware of the accidents, the people milling around in the parking lot slipping on ice, I suspect hadn't.
