I put together a little slideshow at http://picasaweb.google.com/jim.barbour/ThrallPeak
These pics correspond to my written trip report from earlier this week: https://eispiraten.com/f ... -asc-0.php
Will Thrall Pk (7845'), Pleasant View Ridge (7983') - PICS
Nice pictures Jim. I like the ones after Will Thrall. On the saddle and ridge. The trees look very cool. Doesn't look like many people go around there. No wonder they call it Pleasant View Ridge. Fun to watch!

Yeah, I love high, open country in more remote areas like that. Great stuff! Adventure, baby, adventure. I don't want to be in areas with trails and hordes of "tourist" hikers. Gimme a map, a compass, and just a bit of room to roam.FIGHT ON wrote:Nice pictures Jim. I like the ones after Will Thrall. On the saddle and ridge. The trees look very cool. Visibility was pretty poor this past weekend -- in part because of the fires. We couldn't pick out a distinct smoke plume; it was just generally brown out toward the desert and points north.
