I had originally planned to take the entire day (3/5) hiking to twin peaks east in the little bit on snow we had, but I ended up getting stuck watching my son last minute so we hiked to mt. waterman via the fire road. waterman had about 6-12inches of very slushy snow but it was already melting in sunnier spots.

We Finished up waterman with plenty of daylight left and spontaneously i decided to hike to a peak off of the Eaton saddle area as I drove down the
ACH. My eyes first caught Markham and it seemed like fun, but i Had the baby carrier and Mt. Lowe seemed like the Easiest/best option for the circumstances. I planned re-visit to the area to bag the rest of the peaks in the area, and watched the sun begin to set as we hiked out.

Thanks for sharing and for the Pics. Ahhh you are never stuck with your son. My son is 27 and he gets stuck with me on the trail, poor kid!
