Water at Sturtevant Camp?

I don't recall - is there a drinking fountain or another clean water source that passers through can partake of? Thanks.

Yes, there is a drinking fountain in front of the dining hall. The water gets checked every six months by LA County - that is, the camp manager takes a sample and sends it in to The County.

Anyone know if the fountain is pumping out water? Planning a group trail run and want to advise folks on water.

The fountain was not working when I was there in July, but they did have plastic jugs of water set out for hikers. Sturtevant Camp is very hiker friendly.
