Flat a body of water? Yes, obviously they mean Santa Anita Canyon, and in particular the segment (I think) downstream from Sturtevant Falls, but a bit more specificity would be nice.
Concentrations of E. coli, a bacterium that can cause sore throats, flu-like symptoms or serious illnesses, were above action levels at such popular watering holes as Chantry Flat above Arcadia, Hansen Lake in the San Fernando Valley and Eaton Canyon and the Arroyo Seco in Pasadena.
