The stars lined up this past weekend and I was able to get out of work and backpack in the Sierra's for a few days. My first time and man it didn't disappoint

Nice pics mangus. Congrats on your 1st Sierra trip!
On one hand it looks like a low snow year (South-East glacier of Mt. Ritter is almost down to nothing), yet there also seems to be a new dusting of snow on the peaks. Looks like good timing!! Beautiful area.
Cheers!

Awesome, Ediza is one hell of a place to introduce yourself to the Sierra!
Great photos and thanks for sharing!

Great trip for your first time up there. Lots of cool places but be careful, it's addictive...

Thanks guys!
Really had a blast out there. It feels good to finally see the Sierra Nevada Range (albeit a small portion) with my own eyes.
I can't wait for next season

Nice trip mangus. I'm totally jealous. Ediza is a pretty spectacular place.
