This one was right before the Ski Hut on Baldy. It was just off the trail and not afraid of us humans at all.

Gorgeous! You get the best bighorn photos!!

So I assume these guys rut in the fall, like deer? If so, probably would make the rams more confident than usual.

Thanks! Fall rut sounds correct to me...I believe this is not the biggest Ram on the Mountain, but old enough. We know there are lots of females around the area. Shin had a photo of several very near this spot recently, and I had seen several just over the mountain a few weeks ago. So it makes sense that this ram, would be hanging around.
