On Saturday, 5-31-2008, there were LOTS of cars parked at Manker Flats -- the most I've seen. Maybe 100 cars?

I believe there was a work detail repairing the roof on the ski hut.

I hate it when someone takes my favorite parking spot.
Head count at Baldy Summit @ 11:30 a.m. = approx 30 (It was difficult to count heads because most people were taking shelter from the brisk S-SW wind.)
On my way down DBB trail, when I reached the saddle between Baldy & Harwood, I turned around and looked back at Baldy and counted 20 hikers on the mini-switchbacks on Baldy's east face. It was a crowded day, but everyone behaved.
