Has anyone done this hike lately? or in the past? It appears to be about 16-17 miles if the gate is locked at San Sevine.

Any info would be great.

It sounds like you need a 4WD vehicle to get close to the trailhead.

The San Sevaine Road has a lot of damage resulting from floods a few years back, also a lot of downed trees, so it is closed.

Those were some great links, thanks for the info. I think I'll scout out the road situation up before attempting the climb.
