Bear Creek from Jarvi Vista (Hwy2)

Anyone have any experience with Bear Creek from the Crest? I was thinking of dropping in somewhere around Jarvi Vista and heading South down Bear Creek. What can I expect besides poison oak and pot farms? It a nice looking canyon.. Thanks!

I know you can barely drop in off the trail on the west side of Jarvi Vista, but I havent gone down there....super-steep drop-in. Its a narrowish gully, so it looks like theres a lot of debris to contend with...eventually. A few drops likely as well.
