How come nobody told me that some enterprising mountaineer attached a bottle opener to the tree atop Ontario Peak? I was woefully ill prepared when I reached the summit today.

There are identical stainless steel bottle openers bolted to the registers of both Timber Mountain and Telegraph Peak, so now you need to hike the Three Tee's Trail to check these useful items out as well. While remembering the Boy Scout Motto, of course: Be Prepared!

Geez, after visits to Ontario, Timber, Telegraph, and the Notch I'll need a designated driver after my day in the mountains.jfr wrote: There are identical stainless steel bottle openers bolted to the registers of both Timber Mountain and Telegraph Peak, so now you need to hike the Three Tee's Trail to check these useful items out as well.
