We did this easy canyon the day after the Death Valley one. A bit of a contrast, one could say. It is above Deukmejian park in Glendale or so.

It's a side creek on the way up the mountain, off to the west of where we were heading, we did see some in "cooks canyon" but thus far I have not had a breakout, don't want to speak to soon but nothing at this point and it's usually two days after that I start seeing red spots or blotches.

I was funny seeing that sign on the way in though - I'm like here we go again. I'm hoping like hell that I made it past all of the plants without getting any on myself
