That is cool. They look healthy. It must be all the Budweiser and cigaret butts that wash down from the east fork.

Still doesn't make sense. I thought sea turtles were salt water-only type of animals.

Never mind... the sea turtles here are part of a colony that live at or in the mouth of the San Gabriel River in Long Beach. My bad.

They're known to live in and near the mouth of the SG River between Seal Beach and Long Beach. The power plants just upstream along Studebaker Road probably help, as they discharge cooling water into the river to make it a nice warm environment.
