Tarantula Hawk dragging a paralyzed tarantula to its burrow, where it will lay eggs on it. The larva will then consume the spider.

Good job Ty on getting some trad experience in. Patrick, excellent climbing up Conveniently Sexy in those shoes!!! Thanks everyone for the great day. Life should be filled with days like this.

Taco, are there some relatively easy climbs up there? for scouts?

Love the pictures. Too bad about the tarantula. Have you noticed that there are fewer of them around in the last decade or so?

I want to say no because the easier routes have a lot of loose rock on them. Not worth the risk. It would be a better idea to head out to New Jack City or something similar where a toprope session is easy, safe, and simple to set up and get a lot of folks on easy routes. The weather is really nice right now as well.

I enjoy looking at pictures of this more than I might if hanging from one of those pitons :shock:
