Took a trip with my buddy James. We did it very quickly, a spur of the moment kinda deal.

We climbed Ace Dick 5.10, which Johnny and I worked on last summer. We were able to complete it today without the dyno lunges we needed last time. I found a small ledge for my toes below the crux, stepped up while balancing on some other features on the left, then pulled up and stemmed on small edges while placing the sling (pro for the crux), and then stemming a tiny bit more to mantle on the ledge. It's a fun 5.8 now. :-)

Did a few laps and then left when it got dark. Looking to go back this week for an actual trip. I have a few projects up there to work on, now that the road is open. Been eyeing these projects for a long, long time.

I took this shot on the 14th...
