Is there anywhere to take empty Propane tanks (the 16.4 oz green ones for camping stoves) to be recycled.

A16 recycles the little dome shaped backpacking canisters (or used to; I assume they still do), but what about the car camping ones?

Try the guy at Pasadena Propane. He may be able to just refill them for you...

Yeah, everybody has got a bunch of 'em. If you've got a BBQ with a propane tank, you can buy an adapter and do your own refilling. I haven't got a BBQ.

I was thinking of recycling them, but I don't know of a recycler.

I do my own refilling on the dome shaped backpacking gas canisters.
