Verdugo Mtns. perambulations: 01-08-2011

Went for a hike through the Verdugo Mountains with Hikin_Jim and cougarmagic this morning. I had not been up on these trails before so thanks for leading the way HJ and CM, I really enjoyed the area and will return for sure.

Nice cool day with a good thick marine layer to enhance the scenery. Saw lots of critter crap, scrapes and tracks. Bagged a few saddles on the Hundred Saddles Section List to make the trip worthwhile

The sign said "Mountain Lion Siting", but we found a mountain lion walking.
