I was left to my own devices today and didn't want to start out the week without bagging a few saddles

It was steady light rain as I left the deserted trailhead and I was as you might guess...alone.

Come on! it's rain! it ain't nuclear waste!

I bagged Boundary Saddle at 2.7 miles , Hostetter Saddle at 3.4 miles, a near summit of Verdugo Peak at 3.75 miles and was nearly blown off the mountain at Relay Saddle!

I did see one intrepid mountain biker coming up below Boundary Saddle on the way back, and was passed by him again below Hairpin 115

It was like the Hostetter Rd of old... deserted. Maybe most will return to their old routes after the Station Fire closure is lifted

Very nice... the Indefinite Hessian really takes well to the soft ground!
