Dave Jurasevich, who works at the Mt. Wilson observatory told me that Huell Howser was up at Mt. Wilson a few weeks ago filming for an upcoming show. Anyway, they are doing a two-part special on Mt. Wilson. The first episode will air this Sunday, the second next Sunday at 7:00 pm on KCET.

"You mean to tell me these are dah-nah-sahrs?"

"Yes, those are dinosaurs."

"So DAH-nuh-sahrs used to live in Adelanto?"

"Yes, Huell. They used to cook meth in these very houses."

"Waaayow."

OK, I watched it! It was cool. Some good views, and there was a lot I didn't know about the observatory. Even though I glaze over at astronomy, I do like history. It's pretty amazing how they got the equipment up there, and how they've kept it running.

Waaayow indeed!

And as Huell put it, "Some big things happened right here!"
