Yeah, up and back. It's 7 miles or so, according to Google Earth. 3rd time I've done this. I would prefer a motor vehicle of some sort, as we're usually carrying a lot of weight. Ideas welcome.

Nice work Taco, looks like I missed some fun rock climbing.

Have you considered putting bikes on the back of the car and riding those up to the section you are climbing? And does anyone know when the "Crystal Lake" area will open? It's been hinted at for some time but does anyone realy know?

Mountain biking from Highway 2 down to that section would be easy, then down to the gate by the west fork on your way out with another car waiting would also be nice - hard part is getting the car that's up on highway 2 :?

Area is supposed to be open in November.

I used a bike once. Walked it up, rode it down. I don't have a functioning bike anymore, and no $$$$$. :-(
