Kurt Wedberg Presentation on his Everest Expedition: "The SMS is hosting a slide presentation by professional mountain guide, Kurt Wedberg, on Tuesday, April 6, 7:30 p.m., at the Griffith Park Ranger Station Auditorium, 4730 Crystal Springs Drive, Los Angeles. This presentation describes Kurt's 2008 Mt. Everest expedition. Kurt's father, John Wedberg, may also be present." Admission free, contact Jim Garvey 310-809-0792.
This event is one of the few opportunities this season for SMS members to get together and catch up on what everyone's been doing with all the snow this season. This will also be a great opportunity to generated interest in the SMS and attract new members. For those of you who know him, Kurt's father, long time SMS'er John Wedberg, may be there. Spread the word and bring your friends along.
