I wish I could say I spotted Him while hiking, but this one was on the rocks beside the road. I only had to walk a little bit from the car. This was about noon on Sunday.
Right side view.
Left side view
Standing lookout
Front view
He is not afraid of me, but He keeps me in view, I was about 100 yards away across a stream.
Just Another Roadside Attraction

Careful...
You know the rules: general location - not exact spot. Never know when some knucklehead might think that poaching is cool.
(Zé, I realize that I'm probably preaching to the choir.)
Great pics, asbufra!

Mike P's point is well taken. Browsing and grazing animals tend to be predictable, in the same place at the same time from day to day.
And I did get an urge for Mutton Stew while watching
Ze, I sent you a PM.

Somehow I never got to see this post. Reviewing older ones, your title caught my eye. You captured an awesome moment!
