I'm sure some of y'all have conditions questions, so go ahead and ask away. I'm going to post some pics.
Fritz wanted to do some splitboarding, but conditions for that exact media weren't in. I had a great time. I have to go to the hospital to get my right knee checked out, as it's got something wrong with it and is in great pain.

Hell yeah. Dan made a coolass snow lean-to of sorts. Super cool spot to chill, out of the wind.

That's what I wanted to see! Thanks!

couple more pix:
Ryan sitting with Dan in his newly completed snowcave
Never seen such a snow drift right on the summit table. I'd guess up to 7 or 8 feet deep with fantastic eroded ice-sculptures on the leeward sides ..
Overall the conditions are hard-packed and icy, not good for carving on skis or a snowboard, for now.
There is a ton of snow up there and it should soften up in the springtime temps for some good skiing!
People, beware of the falling rime ice - wear a helmet - and watch out for post-holing onto yucca anti-personel landmines!
I hope you knee gets better soon, taco ..
Cheers!

That sucks dude -- hope you recover soon! Something happened on the trail? Or it just developed during the day?TacoDelRio wrote:I had a great time. I have to go to the hospital to get my right knee checked out, as it's got something wrong with it and is in great pain.
Is that shoot of the road right after the gate? That's deep!TacoDelRio wrote:The plow dude plowed the road up a bit.
