Headed up Harwood to Baldy with my friends P&D on backcountry skis.
Took a couple of shots before I put the camera away..

It's a winter wonderland alright ..

Only a few skiers and boarders laid down fresh tracks yesterday.
Didn't see anybody else on top and the hut was closed when I got there.

Thanks, mve.
I like your shots too!

Saw some nice post-holes going down over the trail to the ski hut.
Looked thigh deep in places ..

Wow, great shots! I love your shot of the bowl, most bowl photos I've seen are taken from below the bowl or on the west ridge so its cool to see one from Harwood's side. Thanks for sharing.

Well done! I have never done the backbone in the winter. How was the traverse(any other technical spots? The cornices on the bone look awesome and dangerous.

Thanks!

The DBB is in great condition with the given coverage; sick cornices as you mentioned. Even skins couldn't hold traction on the steep parts below Harwood and we ended booting it up at that location. It's interesting without crampons or axe and only using your skis/poles as an anchor. The rest was gravy.
:D
