Adam and I were joined by Phil and Norma for a quick "storm before the calm" hike up FRC to Sugarloaf Peak. The snow dropped by the Thanksgiving weekend storm ranged from a light dusting to about 3 inches in spots. We started out in low temps and high winds--especially on the ridge--but by the time we left the sun was shining and the birds were remembering their voices once again. Nice pics, Dave. I was going to go up Baldy on Sunday, but when I saw the wind speed on the Baldy Notch weather station, I said no thanks.
