Anyone interested in either of these tomorrow, starting at 6:00 AM?
(1) Complete south ridge of Mt. Baldy, which starts a few hundred yards below Manker Flat.
(2) The ridge east of Falling Rock Canyon to a subsidiary peak of Ontario Peak.
Friday the 13th (yikes?)

Exactly which ridge? The one that's on your left as you hike up Falling Rock Canyon?

Man! Sounds fun and I'm in need of a new adventure. I'm getting my new adventure fix, and heading out to Borrego Springs to hike Villager. I hope to join you on a future outing!

Liz: Villager Peak is enjoyable. We ran out of water too early, though, which made it all the more memorable.

Well, we're carrying plenty of water and a little extra to cache. We plan on doing Villager/Rabbit soon and will be happy to have our cache. I am a recent translplant from OC to San Diego. Apparently, Borrego is where SD hikers play during the winter.

Well, it looks as though I'll be doing the ridge east of Falling Rock Canyon tomorrow. I'll be arriving at Icehouse Canyon parking lot at around 6:00 AM in a green mini-van.
