David, Chris, and I planned to do the Iron-Baldy traverse, but that shall have to wait for another day (uhhh, I'll pass, again). 2nd attempt for moi.

Did the car shuttle deal. Drove to Wanker, got everyone in the old 'rolla, drove GRR to GMR (slowly ;) ). Came across an EG hatch that ate it on "Motherfucker" or "Graveyard" turn, a slight-decreasing radius left 2/3rd gear turn on the downhill just a mile or so south of where GMR hits East Fork. Many folks underestimate the turn and end up understeering into this wall, and flipping their car. I have a scar to prove it.

Headed to Heaton, started off, and made it to the saddle with Bonita Peak in good time. took it easy the rest of the way to save energy for the traverse. Dunno many of the times, as I forgot, but I think we hit the summit at 11:45 or something. Chris stayed back a mile from the top as he was feeling ill. David and I hung out on the summit for a bit, then headed down. Made it to the trailhead at 3:30.28 :-). I remember that time as we had guestimated times, and I wanted to make sure we did indeed arrive at 3:30, so I ran the short bit down.

Thanks Ryan and Chris. Had a good time.

Ryan - February or so, we'll do a winter traverse.

Two couloirs on Iron that we'd like to tackle during winter. Getting there is a whole different story.

Changed the link son the pics, so there aren't 4000 images of Baldy in my post. Retarded-ass Photobucket.

Was the pack of Marlboro's still in the summit box?

That was one of the funniest things I've ever found in those boxes. :D

Nope, I was excited to see if they were still there.

Got another trip planned for winter. Two, possibly. Neither involves ridges. Wish I had a glider to get off the damn thing.
