My own experience is seeing the lake from last year and was incredulous that people were allowed on the lake. This guy gets taken by the lake trying to rescue irresponsible idiots.
I am not sure why the forest service did not close it down. After this death, watching the news showed another group of kids on the same lake with a news reporter showing the different ice depths. One of the kids breaks through and the other kids start laughing. Lawsuit on the way?
