Let me know if that old gigantic (well, big anyway) cast iron stove is still there. I wonder if the old slate type chimneys are still standing? Dang, that should be a good hike. Take pics!

If you do go over from the Allison, you're a better man than I. Even back in the day (80's -- when I first visited the Allison and I was young), the traverse was overgrown. I could still see the route of the trail, but I wonder if even a trace is discernable now. I took one look at it and bailed on the traverse.
