So I arrived at Islip Saddle at the appointed hour of 6:30am
The wind was strong, the temps where low
3 PCT thru hikers came down from Little Jimmy, they where heading for Sulfur Springs
After Claudia arrived we decided to nix the 12 mile trip and just make a quick dash up Mt Baden-Powell
On the way over there looking down in to the clear and warm High Desert I got a (rare) brain storm!
Devils Chair! Hey! I've never hiked to Devils Chair
I didn't have to twist her arm and the dogs didn't care either
It was nice down there though a bit windy got some snow showers too....

The Devils Chair is a nice hike. We did it in 2005 from the Devils Punchbowl County Park. Unfortunately, it is more driving than hiking from Orange County.

I love the Devil's Punch Bowl area. Nice pictures. Weather looked nice dwon there.
