Baldy group hike 4-3-09

There was another group hike organized around Kurt Wedberg's talks at area A-16 stores. A dozen people braved the rain to meet at Manker Flat at 6 AM for a hike up Baldy via the Ski Hut Trail. The rain quit before we left and it turned out to be a beautiful day, with temperatures in the 40s, a fair amount of wind at times, and lots of dramatic clouds. The trial to the Hut was almost totally snow-free but there was enough snow higher up for a direct Bowl ascent for about half of the crew. All 12 made it to the summit (and down).

Nice pictures and great trip report !!! It sure looked like a perfect day for a hike... 8)

DANG!!!!!! I better get up there quick. Before all the white stuff is gone.
