When my climbing buddy Norris told me he'd never hiked Baldy, I was like, "Dude, you've climbed epic mountains whose names I can't even pronounce--this can't be true!" But true it was, so knowing full well the risks I took it upon myself to guide him up this treacherous peak. It was a perfect day until a "whiteout" interupted our glissading plans. But we got to meet Taco and that was cool. Pix are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/21042415@N ... 003205612/

thanx for the TR. looked like a fun day! amazing how conditions can change so rapidly. now Norris can cross-off the highest peak in L.A. county from his international list!
i spent heavy change to woosh and schuss an 11,000 ft peak over the weekend. i had a great time but always look forward to my next adventure with you.
