Always looking for people to do GMR. Most days are open, starting after about 10:00 AM. Let me know.

I love mountain biking for conditioning, but I don't know what GMR is. Sounds beyond my abilities. What are your favorite trails in the San Gabriels? The loop around the north face of Strawberry Peak is pretty cool. I also like the 5 mile ascent from Switzer Campground to Red Box. The 2 mile El Prieto Canyon Trail is perhaps the most challenging in the area (on the ascent that is) that I've done. But I also enjoy fire roads too, especially since you don't have to worry about avoiding hikers. I like the Grizzly Flat, Mt. Lukens (from the Angeles Crest FS to Mt. Lukens is a great 7 mile ascent) and Brown Mountains fireroads.

I am also not sure what GMR stands for, the best I could come up with is:

Good Mountain bike Ride
