Has anyone here climbed Shasta in winter? I'd love to talk with someone who has and get an idea of what it's really like. From what I can tell, pretty intense but you can only glean so much from Summitpost.com
Thanks,
Alex

Try reaching out to Kurt Wedberg at Sierra Mountian International.
He's a super nice guy and will put you in contact with someone that might give you the details you need.

I have maps and guide books of shasta you can "peruse" over lunch (your treat).
If you're going, and depending on the route, I want in.
